We came to this cozy little place for the Pizza and by the time we left we were blown away. So let me start. ZaZaZa on beachwood is small, warm & inviting, attentitive, and easily serves up the best pizza in Ottawa. From the owners of The Works, ZaZaZa brings a whole new meaning to the Pizza experience. The creativity, playfulness, delicious combinations, excellent wine selection, and amazing staff has made this one of my go-to restaurant destinations.
My last adventure involved my father and mother in law. We had ordered three Pizzas; the Sweet Glide(Pesto Oil, Mozza, Prosciutto, Shrimp, Pear, Pecans, Brie, and Arugula), Fancy Mushroom (Mozza, Roasted Portobello, Shitake, Oyster Mushrooms, Parmesan, Goat Cheese, and Truffle Drizzle, and the Month Special (in partner with Jacobson/ I think it was a Vodka Pizza). Let me say all three easily were excellent choices and had their personal strengths. But the winner by a nudge and a half was the Sweet Glide. The combination of ingredients made for a very delicious experience â where every bite tasted different due to the great pairing of ingredients.
We topped it off with a desert pizza known as the Iâm a Good Girlfriend (Nutella Sauce, a combination of berries, braised marshmellows, & icing sugar dust) â and it was absolutely tastebud tantalizing madnessâ¦sooo good.
I also want to give a special shoutout to the staff who were fantastic, friendly, and very down to earth. If you havenât gone to ZaZaZa, I would highly recommend it. Definitely one of the places on the must-go-to-list in Ottawa.
