I have not been back to Danny since my last bad experience, and it’s sad to say that I won’t be back again for a while. Nine months ago, I experience the worst waitress ever that kept me waiting forever after I finished eating. It all started when I finished my breakfast and I wanted to head off to work. She walked around talking to her friends that happen to stop in as customers and totally ignore her other customer. When she finally cleared my table it took her another 10 minutes to bring the bill. She literally threw it in my face because I was showing obvious dissatisfaction. On the way out, I pointed her out to the manager and told him what happened. He was very professional and did his best to recover the waitress attitude. He offered to discounts the bill but I refused as I had already paid and didn’t want to bother reversing the transaction. This visit, the food took about 45 minutes to come and once again, we got attitude from the waitress. When we question the time it took for the food, she responded by saying that her computer marked down the length of time as 20 minutes. In my mind, I question how she knew we were going to complaint about the length of time and why the computer has that feature built in. That attitude was upsetting and when the manager stopped by for quality control, we told him what happen. He was very professional and his responds was very apologetic. He remembered me from the last instance and explained the busyness and the fact that he actually had to go into the kitchen to speed the orders up. I was very satisfied with his professionalism and he actually reduced our fees by 50 %. Overall, the food was good, properly cooked and the bill came promptly when requested. I came here on a wimp because of their famous wings and 101 flavors that are available. I ordered this exotic flavor and my son ordered the typical BBQ sauce wings. I had 2 wings and I couldn't stomach my choice of sauce, so I end up sharing my son's wings. The service was poor and unfriendly so I was shy to asking if there was anything that can be done about it. I left thinking that it was such a waste. The place was packed Friday night but the service was fantastic. We got our food in less than 10 minutes and everything else along with the meal was excellent. The scampi were the size of my pinky, the chicken breast was over cooked so it was tough and dry. My girlfriend's steak was blend and tough to chew to the point that her knife can barely cut it. This was the first time we tried K S for breakfast and it was fairly good. The place was packed, but the service was quick and friendly, the portions were huge, so the value was there. The food itself was done the way I expected and it came fairly hot. The only complaint I have was the bacon was very well cooked and I returned it for another piece of sausage. I will be back. I thought I try another Local Heros to see if the food would be similar. It was the worst mistake ever. It was Saturday evening and the place was dead. That was the first sign of what my experiance was going to be. The beverage was ordered and arrived promply, but from there on, everything took a 90 degrees turn. The food took 25 minutes, and every dish we order was terrible. My Bonanza sandwich was dry, the roast beef had no flavor and the mid west special sauce did not exit. My son's Beef ribs were not edible as the meat on it was burnt and tough. My girlfriend's steak was cooked well done but it literally tasted like the meat expire a week ago. The manager had discover that the food came really late and stopped by to appologise, but she got the worst of it when I discribed everything to her. She was a really nice person and I really feft bad that she worked in such a dive. I hope someone reads this and maybe balance out this review as I can't believe such a place can exit. Click to enlarge Stopped into this place with my girlfriend for a fast bite and check out my favorite wing place. We order the calamari to compare with others we had recently. The waitress also highly recommended it and she was right 100 percent. It was properly dusted with a light thickness of flour and cooked just right to give that crispy texture. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was only acceptable. The wings were over cooked and the chicken nachos was lacking in amount of chicken pieces. The service was excellent and we were checked at least 6 times for food and beverage quality control. I'll be back, but next time I'll warn them about the wings being over cooked. Click to enlarge I decided to order in as the weather was really bad to go out and eat. This site had really good reviews on this restaurant and so I decided to give it a try. The food came late as the person on the phone had already warn me that they were really busy. Well, my first sip of the hot and sour soup was delicious and my bite of the beef with the flat doodle was exceptional. So, I put the food back in the container so I can get a good picture. Well, we continue our dinner and I have to say that it was the best takeout ever. The shrimp roll was crispy and contain just the right amount of shrimps and the Cantonese chow mein and the noodles in it was soft but not soggy. The calamari came with this old style thick batter and contains so much oil that it seeped into the plate. We peel the batter off and fortunately, the calamari inside still tasted OK. The old place was really run down so I kept my visits mostly for a quick bite with the kids or a stop by pace for takeout.
