I waited an hour for my food, while my friend got her dishes served to her nonstop. When I asked someone (who turned out to be the OWNER) how long it would be for my next dishes, he snapped at me, banged his hand down on the side of my table....then when he brought my plate, literally DROPPED it on the table. It was so humiliating, everyone turned to stare. The fact that the OWNER did this is appalling. Don't go into the service industry if you don't know how to deal with people, and/or if you have anger management issues. Doesn't matter how busy the restaurant is. You don't treat customers like that. The food itself was mediocre. It made me sick, and after waiting so long, and being treated like that, I got turned off and didn't even notice. The poor, sweet servers they have there. Probably get treated like slaves. I feel so bad. Never returning.

LOVE the purple paint :) The staff barely spoke english, but that's nothing new for Japanese restaurants in this city. They have pictures of all the food choices so a great place for newbies. Very fresh fish! I can't figure out why garlic bread is on their menu. Still, MUCH better service than Sakura nearby.

Shaan's Curry House is an amazing Indian restaurant. They offer a wide range of Indian cuisine for unbelievably low prices. It's great for people with a hectic lifestyle or a family who appreciates authentic Indian cuisine. So if you want to get the bang for your buck and an outstanding meal, Shaan's curry house is the place to be.

She gave me a look when going out as if I was the one being inconsiderate to which I said, "For someone who is in the service business, you're pretty horrible!". She replied, "You were rocking my chair sir". I didn't reply and walked off. When we were leaving there was another party waiting at the door. Now I know that this restaurant has already established a name for itself and they know that no matter how they serve or treat people, people will come. So they don't care and disrespect people. If she was an employee, she would have been fired long time back. We had a bad experience the first time around as well, when she insulted my wife saying, "You're not at a chinese restaurant!", when all my wife had asked was "Do you have something with nuts?". We ignored and went back coz we thought the food was decent. But the only thing good here is the chef special chicken, and even that's not worth the bad service.

Meanwhile, the lady came and served all the tables around us, and didn't even serve us water or chips like they usually do, or even pay attention to us. In order to get a better view of the room and to see if the other waiter was less busy, I moved back in my chair, momentarily ending up on two legs of the chair. The lady came and without warning, without saying a word, pushed my chair in with force and went to another table. My wife and my jaws dropped! We couldn't believe what had just happened. She then came over a few seconds later while we were talking about leaving and said, "I'm not ignoring you just so you know". To which I replied, "I know you're not, but there's a way. You just pushed me! If I was in your way you could have said 'Excuse Me' and I would have moved". I was totally calm and not rude even at this point. To this she said sarcastically, "Excuse me sir!" and left. We had obviously had it at this point and got up to leave. (cont.)

I will never go here again. The "lady" (owner's wife/waitress) pushed one of the customers entirely without initiation. Read full details below. Today was our second trip to Chahaya Malaysia. We had my sister and her family of husband and two kids visiting us from Toronto. My sister had a craving for Asian food and so we decided to take her here. We reached the place around 8 and indeed it was pretty crowded. We were a family of 6 (4 adults, two kids) and my sister was concerned about the kids falling asleep. First we had two wait about 20 minutes at the door despite the owner knowing we were standing there, and despite there being at least two places right in front of us where we could sit. After that, another bus boy (who was just hired) came and took us right to the back of the room to this table in the far left corner that is almost hidden (you can't see or call the waiter). We then waited again, for about another 15 minutes. (cont.)

WAS a customer for many years.... Until tonight. I called to order a single, simple pizza, although it's a game night and they are busy they are advertising to choose them on game nights with their promotions. First call I was on hold. Then I get this very impatient order person on the phone who made me feel terrible for asking a question about the promo pricing- thru his huffs and sighs. Within 5 minutes my husband walked in with pizza already so I immediately called him back , was put on hold again. After 3 mins of hold I said I needed to cancel and i was told it was already made. I said that's impossible I only ordered 5 mins ago and was told to expect an hour wait. HE THEN HUNG UP ON ME. I am furious. I called back and TRIED to explain the reason I had to cancel and Was being considerate - I asked him" WHY did he hang up on me?" I was told he was too busy. I then told him how upset I was since we have been loyal customers for over ten years . (cont.)

His reply? " I DON'T CARE- GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WERE TOO BUSY AND DON'T NEED YOU" !?!?!* I was stunned , asked for the manager , he said HE WAS the manager. I am in shock I was treated like this. I am beyond furious and will make sure everyone knows about their 'service'

I have always prefered the taste of Willy's Pizza. However, as a vegetarian I expect that when I order a pizza with vegetables, that there will be no meat hidden in my pizza. Twice in the last couple months I have ordered pizza with specific vegetarian topping and have found meat in it. First was pepperoni and last night it was chicken. I do not eat meat for a reason, and I am completely disgusted by the fact that I have unknowingly swallowed meat twice now at the hand of Willy's pizza on Klondike Rd. We often order from this place and last night was the last time. Congratulations to Willy's for losing a family of regular customers
