I came to this restaurant on a discount coupon and would have never found it otherwise. It was fabulous from the moment we entered the restaurant. We presented the coupon and were treated cordially. The 5 course meal was excellent and the highlight of the night was their filet mignon. We were at the Keg a few days before and their steaks were a fraction of the quality we relieved from La Favorita. We were a party of eight at the Keg, and we all agreed. When we finished, the owner Nick did the quality control and we graciusly discussed our experience. He was happy with the coupon arrangement and pleased with some of the new customers he retains after their first visit. We will certainly be back with our friends.
It has been a while since I order flowers and they certainly made it very easy for me. The price was right and the service was great. Fast and efficient with good quality.
I came here on some business and walk away as a committed costumer. I was greeted very well, served with friendly attitude and received the best meal I had all week. Their lamb and rice was well prepared with unique excellent herbs and their chicken and rice was done to perfection. A definite 5 out of 5

I went to the bank st location for a oil change. they come out in 5 mins telling me i needed a front brake service. I had just had the front brakes done at my long time garage. They told me they did not do the job properly which I found very surpising as I had never had a problem with the excellent service I have always received there. I told Garys not to touch my brakes and to finish my oil change that I had gone there for in the first place. So I went to the dealer for a second opinion on my brakes and was told by the Dealer that there was nothing wrong with the brakes and that the job was done exactly as it should have been with proper lubrication and quality parts. To put it mildly I will NOT go back to Garys again!!
Sambuza Village is a small restaurant located on the main level of the apartment buildings on Bank Street (across from Home Depot). The food is home-made and tastes great. The service is very quick and friendly. The prices are very affordable and the food is good for both eat-in or take-out. Although small, it gets pretty packed! I recommend you all to visit this wonderful place.
The previous owners Pietro Anselmo and Kim Herrington are supposedly living in Ottawa. People who lost money, do you want to start a joint lawsuit against these con artists?

Horrible doctor , horrible bedside manner. Always whining about everything , extremely rude, make you wait forever for test results,. Save yourself the anguish of being around this disaster and research her first and you will stay away from her as well.
Went to Stella Osteria in the Byward Market the other night for my friend's Birthday. The service was great! As soon as I stepped in, the hostess was very nice and offered to hang up all of our coats. The food tasted good, but a little pricey.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back soon!
The palace is one of the most beautiful halls in Ottawa. We had several corporate events there. The food and service was great and I received a lot of positive feedback.
Decided to try their yellow curry for lunch a couple of weeks ago - was very delicious *AND* I had enough left for lunch the next day. Service was very fast and personable. With what seems to be the usual idea, you can eat in or take out.
I was looking for 1 wedding dress and 8 brides maid dresses, and I got the worst service ever. I had marked an appointement but I never got any help from anyone. There's a old lady who works there(I think it's Dominique's mother) that has no maners with poeple. She's the most arrogant women I've seen in my life... Don't go there...You won't get a good service!

I bought my wedding dress here and it didn't fit very well. I asked the lady several times if she would take it in but she said that we don't do that. She ruined my wedding!
Don't go to Union after 12 - paid $8 to get in, $2 for coat check, only to be ignored to 30 minutes. Didn't end up checking my coat, just bounced. Terrible service.
My and my girlfriend decided to try out this place for a late dinner, and I can say we weren't dissapointed. Topkapi has amazing appetizers, a very nice price, fantastic Chicken Iskander and if you get a chance, try the "seasoned sirloin strips on yoghurt and tomato on a bed of fried potato", absolutely blew me away.
Service was fantastic, it feels like a family run affair, through and through.
The worst type of people i have ever dealt with in my life! My sister had paid Kim the last owner a full payment for a wedding in November 2011 and we paid 5 months in advance for 250 people and said we want the entire hall and confirmed everything and got it signed. And less than a month later i contacted the hall again and found out that the management has now changed! after that i tried contacting them amd always got a secretary that could never answer any of my questions and said that i would get a call back which they never did so i finally just went in a day to speak ti someone at 10 PM on a friday and no one was there, than i finally spoke to a very very rude lady named manuela who made my sister as in the bride cry and said she would not give us the hall if we couldnt show her proof of payment 2 days before the wedding! anddd i can write a book in the new mean and anniyung owners clair and manuela but i dont want to waste my time on them but seriously if you want your wedding to be stressful and horrible go with hall and if you want a calm and peaceful one choose another hall
This location is great. The staff is very professional,quick, resourceful and friendly. There was an issue with getting at one of their routines due to a modification I had under the hood. They figured it out without any delays.
We used to like this restaurant but our recent experience has made a serious dent in it's reputation, at least to us. First of all, we tried yesterday to make a booking for lunch today, but the lady on the phone said they were too busy and asked us to call back after nine. When we finally made the booking and went to the restaurant today, we were disappointed by the dishonesty shown by the staff. We ordered a soup of sea bass, ham, tofu and mushroom, and were surprised to find and sea bass (actually a lot of tofu and very little sea bass) in the soup. When we told the waiter that none of the five people who tried the soup nor the remaining portion in the bowl tells that there is any ham or mushroom in it, he insisted that there was both. Only later the same waiter admitted that they forgot to put in mushroom, but still insisted that there was ham, but may be in a well ground form of it ( and therefore quite invisible).
After this visit I think we are going to think twice next time when someone suggests going there.
