Plenty to say about Preston Hardware! This place could give Home Depot & Rona a run for there money. They have almost everything a home Reno could need, with convenience of being right downtown. Plumbing, electrical, tile & stone, to BBQs!
They didn't carry the length size of pipes we needed, but made the effort to check in the basement for scrap supplies and found it! Thank you!
The Green Door is one of only a few vegetarian restaurants around Ottawa, like Westboro's The Table. Pretty much the same food every time we've been, but a good buffet-styled set of choices if you don't go often. Veg lasagna, spanikopitas, soups, varied salads, occasionally sushi, and a large and sometimes tasty dessert choice.

We just bought $350 worth of naturally raised meat in 2 x $175 gift certificates from GroupOn, for only $110 total. They are non-expirable, and you can buy as much or little at a time that you want, and they simply deduct it from the total amount!

"Listen Up" - no pun intended - but some family were up from Virginia, and they bought their hearing aides from Costco for only $2100, and it came with a 5month no questions asked return policy. So if u know of any Grandparents, parents, friends that need them, i've heard that they normally cost around $9000.

as far as tattoo parlors go, i think i've heard just about everything. This place seems to be the most reputable in Ottawa, from the number of friends and acquaintances that i know of that have gotten a tatt here
Literally in the heart of the Byward Market, next to Aubrey's Butcher, Lapointe fresh fish supplier of all of Ottawa owns their very own restaurant! No better place will have fresher fish & seafood!
A well-run gas station, it has Tim Horton's inside and a full service one across the street! Need a car wash? They have that too! It is right beside a Canadian Tire as well! So if there's a place worthwhile stopping for gas it's here!
This theatre has several smaller rooms for movies which makes it a bit more ....personal! The big ones I find the opposite, however the food choices are immense in comparison, but oddly by all of the companies not following healthy choices which recently claimed government bankruptcy protection! Cheap Tuesday is ideal though if u can go early in the day or later at night - tix are 1/2 price here for $5 at the World Exchange Plaza!
Service is good, negotiations are not. I had to switch sales people a couple of times to make ends meet. Sean Campbell worked at the Leon's at Pinecrest turn off from the hwy, who helped us with out Savannah Kingsdowne oversized King bed purchase - it was speedy and we are extremely happy with our purchase. Check that bed out - it is ultra comfortable!
